FOME in Rome and the Learning Design Innovation Awards

2023s FOME conference and the Learning Design Innovation Awards

Last week (3-6 December) saw 2023’s annual FOME (Future of Management Education) conference take place in the landmark city of Rome, hosted by the FOME alliance’s Luiss Business School.

With over 70 representatives from partner schools attending, including Deans, faculty, learning designers and management from the world’s leading business schools, the FOME conference was a welcomed opportunity for forward-thinking leaders to meet, collaborate, and discuss important industry topics. Main points of discussion included Generative AI, strategic business partnerships, and learning technology innovations.

Co-founded by insendi, the FOME alliance is made up of leaders in the development and delivery of immersive online and hybrid business education experiences. Together with other FOME members, the alliance has a shared vision to be a catalyst for digital innovation in business education in a way that leverages the collective capabilities, unique global coverage and perspectives, expertise, and evidence-based pedagogical insights of its members.

To showcase these insights and expertises, the insendi-sponsored FOME Learning Design Innovation Awards took place at the conference. These awards set out to celebrate the creative designs and impactful capabilities of member institutions and the insendi platform, recognising intelligent, well-crafted pedagogical designs for online and blended learning. Jess Hardy, Senior Learning Design at insendi, announced the gold, silver, and bronze prizes, and enjoyed attending both the conference and awards ceremony:
